Flashback Friday: Giraffie the lovie

Here's a picture taken about 5 years ago of my daughter and hubby:

Notice the giraffe stuffed animal?  That's my daughter's lovie.  It still is. She takes Giraffie to bed every night.  Sometimes Giraffie gets his own "tuck-in." Giraffie often gets placed on a chair or a couch with a pillow and blanket for the day while my daughter is at school.

You know what I notice about this picture?  How BRIGHT Giraffie looks!  He's gotten quite dingy over the years.  And it doesn't matter how many times we wash him!

My daughter's lovie has lead her to loving all things Giraffe.  They are a must-see at the zoo. And she now has more giraffe stuffed animals than I can count.  But Giraffie is always the most important, most loved of them all.

Head on over to Cafe Bebe for more Flashback Fridays.

What a lovely picture! The Pickle loves her teddies, but just like me she is capricious and has a range of 'little darlings' as she calls them in varying degrees of dinginess.

Cute photo. Yeah Winnie the Pooh is definitely not as bright as he used to be here.

Well, I think now we need to see Lovie in it's current state! Thank you so much for joining in on Flashback Friday! ;) I always appreciate some American involvement...I'm a Cheesehead originally you know! ;)

Very sweet photo! Reminded me of my daughter's Teddy Bear, he looked quite sorry for himself in the end!!

I know this is going to seem like a very strange request but... My son had a stuffed giraffe (it was mine from many years ago) and he lost it when we were out the other day! I can't find it anywhere and I have been searching the internet forever trying to find a replacement. I thought it was made by Ty but I might be wrong. I came across your post:

And THAT's him! Would you mind looking on the tag if you still have it and telling me who makes it, or if you remember where you purchased it...
That would be such a great relief to me and my son!

Thank you!
