Diners, Drive ins and Dives Review: Terry's Turf Club

My husband and I are big fans of the show Diners, Drive ins and Dives.  So, whenever we take a trip, we try to hit a few restaurants that have been featured on the show.  On our recent vacation to Kentucky, we stopped by a fabulous diner in Cincinnati, Ohio -- Terry's Turf Club.  We pulled up, and knew we had found a winner before we even stepped in the door.  Take a look at this place!

Talk about nostalgia! The signs outside were awesome, and entertained us while we waited for a table.  It was a tiny joint, but well worth the wait.  This place specializes in custom burgers.  You select your burger, toppings, and sauce separately.  They have items you would expect in a fine dining establishment like brie and foie gras, but it's really all about the burgers.  My hubby got himself a monster beef burger, and I got a lump crab burger.  As the kids were not as adventurous as us, they got cheese sandwiches.

The indoor neon signage was just as kitschy as the outdoor vintage decor.  This place was awesome.  I highly recommend the visit to anyone stopping by the Cincinnati area.
