The birds, the bees, and eggs...

My 7-year-old daughter, my husband and I were sitting at the dinner table last night talking about having babies.

Daughter:  "You were very lucky to have two babies, one girl and one boy -- just like you wanted."

Daddy:  "Yes, we were lucky.  Not every one gets what they wanted.  Some people can't even have one baby."

Daughter:  "Momma?  Was it hard when you laid us?"

Momma:  "Like an egg???  *pause* Ummm... yes, it was hard to have babies.  Very hard.  But many, many women do it."

Daddy hides his face to hide the snicker.

Daughter: "I think I'll only have one baby, then."

Daddy hides his face in horror.

OMG laughing hysterically!! My 14 yr old niece was horrified this past week when my dad told her he was going to Bermuda for work. She thought he meant the Bermuda triangle. lol
