Schedules gone wild!
Moms, especially us working moms, are constantly having to organize schedules. Kids school schedules, doctor's appointments, business trips, dance class, soccer games, etc., etc. And, of course, we also have a husband who has to work late, or wants to hang out with his buddies, or golf, or get his haircut or blah, blah, blah. Sometimes, I felt like my husband and I did more scheduling coordinations than actually having conversations!
Enter Google calendar
We needed a solution.
- We each have our own Google calendar.
- We each enter in any dates, events, or important To Do's as soon as we know about them.
- We share each other's calendar so that we can see all family events at all times!
My husband is also obsessed with his smart phone, and does a sophisicated sync between Google calendar, his phone, and Outlook. But, I'll leave that to the phone obsessed. I do check the calendar from my Blackberry, but no fancy syncing.
