Apparently my daughter, A, has her "deep thoughts" at 7:30 in the morning. Again, while I was getting ready, she wants to have a conversation with me. It goes something like this:
A: "You were lucky. You wanted a boy and a girl, and that's what you got."
Momma: "Yep." (Momma is half-awake, and we've had this part of the conversation before.)
A: "I think I only want one child. Maybe. I'm not sure. I have a while to figure that out. First I need a husband."
Momma: "Yes, you do."
A: "Yeah, and then we have to decide that we are ready to have kids. I know I want to have kids. I want to be a momma. But not for a long time."
Momma: "Yes, not for a long time."
My kid thinks ahead.
